Fire Department

The Town of Weaverville Fire Department proudly serves the 3,674 citizens of the Town and the over 20,000 people that live in the North Buncombe Fire District.  

The Fire Department has 18 full time personnel, 12 part time personnel, and 5 volunteers.  The Department currently has an ISO rating of 5 inside Town limits and a 9 rating in the North Buncombe Fire District.  The Department responds to nearly 1900 calls for service per year.
