The “My Favorite Book” Program is supported by local businesses, civic organizations, community minded individuals and the police department. Every year this book is presented to all first grade students in the Weaverville School District. The book is about Doing Your Best and Being Your Best. It covers topics such as :Good Manners, Making the World Better, The Hero, Friends, My Family, How I Got In Trouble, Being Good To Your Body, and it has a Parent Guide.
