Community Information Meeting - Town Council Workshop

6:00 PM - 8:00 PM | Planning Department

Weaverville's Town Council is in the process of considering amendments to its laws governing land use and zoning within the boundaries of the Town of Weaverville. Town Council initiated this project in November of 2016 and the Town's Planning and Zoning Board has been diligently working on the project since that time. The primary goals of the amendments are to incorporate a Table of Uses so that the zoning ordinance is easier to understand, implement and enforce and to update the zoning ordinance to comply with recent legislative changes. No zoning map amendments are proposed.

Information on the proposed amendments is available on the Town's website at www.weavervillenc.org or by contacting Town Hall at 828-645-7116.
