Special Called Meeting

11:00 PM - 12:00 PM | Town Hall

The Mayor has called a special meeting of the Town Council for Tuesday, May 7 2013.  This meeting will be held at the Buncombe County Commissioners Meeting Room located at 200 College Street.  This will be a joint meeting with the Buncombe County Commissioners to discuss matters of mutual interest.   

Zoning Board of Adjustment Meeting

7:00 PM - 9:00 PM | Town Hall

The Zoning Board of Adjustment will hold a meeting on Wednesday, May 15 at 7 PM.  The Board will consider an application for a Unified Housing Development permit and an application for a modification of the Unified Business Development permit for Northridge Commons. 

May Town Council Meeting

6:45 PM - 9:00 PM | Town Hall

The Weaverville Town Council will hold its regular monthly meeting beginnin at 7 PM on Monday, May 20.  At 6:45 PM the Council will hold a Public Hearing regarding the refinancing of the debt on the Weaverville Fire Station. 

Town Council Budget Workshop

4:00 PM - 6:00 PM | Town Hall

The Town Council will hold a workshop to discuss the FY 2014 budget at 430 PM on May 23.  

Senior Citizen Luncheon

12:00 PM - 1:00 PM | Town Hall

The Town will hold its annual Senior Citizens luncheon on Saturday, May 25 at noon. 

Memorial Day Celebration

11:00 PM - 12:00 PM | Town Hall

The Town of Weaverville will hold a Memorial Day Program at Lake Louise on Monday, May 27th at 11AM to honor those that gave their lives in service to our country.  The ceremony will include a bagpipe prelude, presentation of colors, a demonstration by the NBHS JROTC, brief remarks by Colonel Louise D. F. Frasche' (US Army, Ret.), recognition of the memorial rock and plague placed last year, and a gun salute. 

The public is encouraged to attend.  The ceremony will be held on the north side of the lake, near the playground.  A more detailed program is available by clicking here.
